HOTU vs Luminosity Gaming: Prediction and Where to Watch the RLG Tesla Cup 2026 Match

On October 27, HOTU will face Luminosity Gaming in a group stage match of RLG Tesla Cup 2026 in Counter-Strike 2. The series will be played in a Bo3 format. The start is at 19:00 CEST (20:00 Moscow time).

HOTU — Team Analysis

HOTU has won three of their last five series: the team beat fnatic 2:0, Acend 2:0 and STATE 2:1. However, the squad then lost to Astralis (1:2) and to fnatic again (0:2). These results show that HOTU is capable of competing with strong opponents, but doesn't always manage to maintain a consistent level throughout a series.

In the current ranking, HOTU is ahead of Luminosity Gaming. This makes the Russian team a serious contender for the win, especially if they can capitalize on their advantage on comfortable maps.

Luminosity Gaming — Team Analysis

Luminosity Gaming comes into the match after four consecutive losses. In October, the team lost to Nemiga, Astralis, Nexus and BBL Esports. Over this stretch, the squad has lacked consistency, and the recent results don't allow for confidently counting on a win over an opponent ranked higher.

That said, Luminosity has players capable of turning the tide of an individual map. If the team gets off to a good start in the series and imposes its own tempo on the opponent, the match could turn out to be a tough one.

HOTU vs Luminosity Gaming Match Prediction

HOTU looks like the preferred side thanks to a higher ranking and wins over strong opponents in recent tournaments. Luminosity is on a losing streak and has yet to show sufficiently consistent play.

• Prediction: HOTU win with a 2:0 score.

• Confidence level: medium. HOTU has the advantage in current form, but the recent losses to fnatic and Astralis don't allow us to completely rule out a three-map fight.
